Go with a hidden antenna, and fill in the hole, and have the paint touched up by a body shop......

Found a solution, got a new GM power antenna which fits, and gave it to a BestBuy installer, and voila! one new GM Power antenna installed!

Now on to the 1987 IROC front fender emblems, new seat...

That's all I could find, and the installer installed it with no problems whatsoever, other than my 85 requires a relay added, one which is on the IROC.

Wrong, both my Sport and IROC are stock, although I added aftermarket Xenon GFX to the Sport, and the antenna fit perfect and look perfect.

Thee TV cable check out fine, but it was adjusted too tight, so we backed it off a bit, and the ride home was pretty good. Tomorrow morning on my trip to the liquor store, I will see what it is like...

only when it is warm, and not always, I think it has to do with the TV cable and valve setup, since a slow acceleration hardshifts cold. I haven't had it sorted out yet, just working through it.

Will do, and there is no doubt warmer weather the AT works much better, even normal.

TV valve may be the problem as the tranny shop adjusted and checked out the TV cable.

That is the same as mine, a 305 TBI, and it shifts smoother when I accelerate more aggresively, but I have not had time to go to the transmission shop.

I think you are perfectly correct, however, I would have said 5 years. It does not matter which age a vehicle is, it is the condition, mechanical, esthetics and interior, which is important. ...

My 1987 IROC does not have tires for snow on them, so it sits in snow weather, but my 1985 Sport does have all season, and is driven in all weather.

No, if it was, then it's easy, but it is just a sport T-Top with aftermarket GFX, by Xenon, a carburated 305 5.0L AT w/OD. The car before the GFX and pain is in my post.

The bottom line seems to be, copy your VIN and REPO codes to GM dealers and ask them to tell you what to get, and where if they are no longer able to supply.
