you problem is not the ecm. you mite have a security problem my car is doing the same thing. and you mit need the ecm that come with the tpi unit at least the prom that the only thing that can give...

the way you check the map is to crank the engine and while its running pull off the vacu hose and it should die right away if not the it shouldnt have start any way because it has to have that vac...
