You could always modify the intake and run a tpi harness/ecu with some of the newer tuning options for them. That would keep harness mods small. Just need someone competent to do the machine work...

Like was said, its a very easy swap just time consuming. Also just swap out the whole pedal setup. Many people say that they have to modify 4th gen pedals to even bolt up but mine bolted up fine...

You are correct they are the same caliper but the LT1 rotors are larger in diameter so that's where the upgrade comes in.
