By the way my tire pressure was 35psi not 15psi in the video. Pretty sure 22 psi is what I ran normally with those Mickey's. 10.9 was the best et with the drag radials. I ran 10.7's on a 28" slick.

I know a guy that ran a vortec headed 383 in an 85 camaro with a .450 lift rule hydraulic cam and ran mid to low 11's @ 118mph with 3.42 gears. It did have a 2700 lb race weight though.

gtechs from what I've seen are pretty close for the 1/4 mile, but usually high with the mph in the 1/4. Your Mph's seem to match pretty good. The times sound about right for what you have also.

1 5/8" would be fine for A 500 HP 383. Better low end torque than 1 3/4". I definetly would not go over 1 3/4" for a 500 hp 383.
