I had a Powermaster that failed the first month. Pure crap. Don't go there. Then I bought a CVS P100. This thing can crank up to 14:1. Very nice.

What valve cover gasket you use with AFR heads? Mine are leaking :-(

I used the Felpro cork type gasket PN# 1648 for centerbolt, (1604 for perimeter) and after 2700 miles they are leaking a little on the lower long sides. Is there anything better out there? Help...

Nice! That sounds like a 3" exhaust. Below is my XFI-268 in a different car. I have AFR 180 heads in a 355 10:1 with roller rockers, 52mm, AS&M runners, Edelbrock base, ported plenum, shorty 1 1/2"...

Re: 304rwhp/366rwtq TPI Dyno - AFR heads, XFI268 cam etc.

Because I added all at once is hard to say but I think heads and cam were the bigest contributors. But of course the high flow intake needed to be there.

Re: E-Tec/SDPC Vortec

I have the XFI 268. Idles perfect at 750-800rpm and gives me 17Hg of vacum. I don't see any big difference from a stock setup. Gave me 304hp/366tq to the wheels with restrictive exhaust.

Re: 304rwhp/366rwtq TPI Dyno - AFR heads, XFI268 cam etc.

Yeah, I would be hesitant to add bigger headers to loose a lot of torque low and gain only 10hp at 5K or higher. But I think if I go crazy and fabricate some custom made long tubes I may get moer HP...

304rwhp/366rwtq TPI Dyno - AFR heads, XFI268 cam etc.

Last dyno it did 236hp/342tq and now 304hp/366tq both at the wheels (SAE). So that's a 68hp/24tq gain. I adjusted fuel and timing at the session but there were no major gains from initial (6hp/9tq)....
