Probably not,since the idle is pretty jumpy with ac on.:)

I did a tb-rebuild 2 weeks ago,it`s not a complicated job.
Just buy a rebuild kit,take it apart,clean it well and assemble.
Take it easy when tightening the screws,aluminium threads are weak.
