Previous owner installed an alarm with remote start. I don't know how they installed it but you don't need the key in to turn it to the on postion. Everything works fine though including the remote...

Also I don't think I mentioned that like many others the pull down hatch motor doesn't work. Still opens and closes manually just fine.

You could try Tick Performance in Mooresville. They specialize in F-bodys. They do mostly 4th gens but I've had them work on my GTA before. Fantastic guys. The only ones I would trust with my cars....
