I personally ran 235/60-16's on my rear 8 inch Iroc rim with 225/60-16's up front. They fill out the fenderwell much better and ride is much improved. I never had rubbing issues. I would reccomend...

I have an 89 Iroc with the 350 TPI and a stock 2.77 in the rear, and I run 2500 rpm at 70 miles an hour! Also I have 225 60 16's out back, so the rpms should be way less, right? Do I have a problem?

The widest tire for a stock is BF Goodrich's 295/50-16, but I don't think it will clear with you car being lowered.
