Yea, the time I went with mrr23's new motor and ran the Avalanche, we were out front about 15 minutes before they opened the gates, and I ran the Av 4 times within like an hour before I parked it.

You make a point, but consider this. The fuel system is at 60 psi give or take max, and is designed to contain a flammable substance. The A/C high side is considerably higher, and it is designed...

Hydrocarbon is a flammable substance and is prohibited by the EPA as a refrigerant in automobiles. Plus, it is a pressurized flammable substance. Not a good idea IMO.

Why not use 134a? It is cheap, and does not hurt the environment. Besides, you will not get the residues and oils out.

I would not contaminate the system with an additional chemical. If you want to stay r12, or 134a. r22 is for homes.

Will, I have the conversion adapters. $5 and their yours. I also have the hoses to charge the car. Shoot a can of oil/freon in and see what happens. Let me know when you want to take a look at it.

Swap those relays and see if it is still there. If it is, you could consider a MAF. I think advance or autozone can test them.

Don't start throwing parts at it. If that are your codes, feel free to replace EGR. I would also replace the MAF burnoff relay. Then bring it back over and we will set timing, TPS, idle. THOUGH,...
