As a preventative measure, add a little stop leak of some kind to your cooling system. A gm pellet or some bottled goo from auto parts store.

When it is a no start it is a no crank no start, and no solenoid (I think). The relay clicks and fuel pump primes. When it does turn it starts every time. And it starts quickly. I tried the original...

I had bad luck with MSD, they just fail it don’t work for me. I tried BWD, I think, and the coil has been perfect for the last 7-8 years.

well the coil made a great improvement for two weeks, then trouble began, less than 40 days on the car it failed! I dont know if it was mine in particular or all of them, but I will not buy one again.

I have not adjusted or checked timing

timing has not been adjusted in 2 years, no settings were changed, never pulled distributor, It would not automatically change right?
