Re: Need help aligning these damn hoods!

First of all let me say I've never had this issue, but I'm willing to offer some suggestions:
1) Have you tried removing the gas struts and seeing if the hood lays flat?
The 82's had different rate...

Re: How do I test my driverside seatbelt?

It's an inertia reel in the belt mechanism. No need to have the car running, or use the brakes. Sit in the car and jerk on the belt hard and fast. If functional it should lock up.

Re: Frame Measurements

You can also try measuring diagonally from the core support to the cowl using the same reference points for each side. They should be the same if there is no damage.

Re: 82-92 Camaro fiberglass nose/spoiler

I've never tried to fit one of the ASCD noses, but can tell you the quality is exceptional. They claim the fitment is great as well.

Re: crosse fire hood ?

Rock auto lists two different part numbers for steel versus CFI (fiberglass) hood struts. I would not use your existing struts as you may crack the hood when you attempt to close it.

Rallye Green was a 68 & 69 color only, and similar to the current synergy green. Check the color chart to make sure this is the color you want.
