cold starting problem

Hi, Im having problems with my 85 Firebird Trans Am, the guy i bought it from did a swap, so now its got a 305 TPI from an 87. It starts fine in warm and hot weather, but when its freezing or below...

maybe this was already said, but i still have stock exhaust manifolds , could i completely take it off with the A.I.R crap, and just bolt on some shiny new headers? and not worry about anything?

Awesome im happy i found someone with the same engine, so does the engine fit right in perfectly ? any modifications you did ? I want to drop in my 85 T/A it was vin H engine 4BBL 305, then converted...

I see, if you got an engine from pace/GM would you put it in your car right away or would you take it apart and check it? they never ran, but everything should be nice and torqed?

I just read in a small block chevy engine book that the stock 19# injectors from the 305 are good till 350HP with proper tuning (PROM)?
maybe increase fuel rail pressure?

Well my original plans were to get these trick flow heads, i havent decided on cam though. Edelbrock high flow TPI base with SLP runners and port matched plenum, custom K&N intake and hooker shorty...

arent stock 305 heads like 58cc chambers?? why would you get 56cc and increase when your putting a supercharger? im only wondering cause i want to put these exact heads on my N/A 305 TPI

High I want to get some of these for my 305 TPI and try atleast to get what you got, a nice 13.7 with hooker shorty's, Edelbrock high flow base plate + SLP runners and K&N intake, with the 214/224...

when you check the block for the casting numbers, how do you know if its a 350 ?? will ''L98'' be written there?? yes i am a newb lol but please help
