That was the conclusion I came to as well, the original door perhaps being mis-shaped. After I bolted the new door on and had in in adjustment I noticed that the new door would jam into the striker...

Thanks for the input. The car is infact sitting on its wheels. All new suspension as well so I cant imagine it has anything to do with the car not sitting properly.

as you can see in the picture, there is damage on the underside of one of these panels. its cracked, but can be easily fixed.

from my experience on my car, the brake lines were just 3/16" solid line with metric fittings on the end. some fbodies have metric fittings, some have sae fittings.....but they all have the same line
