Also check the ICM and the coil in the distributor, I had a stalling at red lights issue that was caused by either one or both of these being bad.

I know you had mentioned you checked the Ignition module and the pickup coil, but those are the two biggest factors in having spark and injectors firing correctly... and it sounds like one of the two...

I had a similar problem where I'd get spark but no start after the engine warmed up. I replaced the Ignition Module and never had a problem since. So thats what I'd try, good luck!

nope you won't have to d/c the battery just hold the iac upside-down(spindle facing down), so that you don't get any carb cleaner in where the iac motor is

If you jumper the A and B terminals like you were checking ses codes, and then wait a minute for the IAC to fully close... then unplug the IAC connector and remove the A B jumper you should be able...

the buzz could be the motor in your IAC valve trying to work, try unplugging the IAC valve and see if you still hear the buzzing anymore

Service mode just uses the SES light to tell you if your car is in closed or open loop while running. Usually you'd start the car first and then add the paperclip after the car's running

At the end of the aluminum plug is a rubber o-ring that seals that end off, most likely the o-rings worn out and you have some gas getting by.
