oil leak from rear of engine.
I have a couple of oil leaks from my car. (86 LG4 Camaro)
one is from the rear main seal, it drops only one or two drops at worst.
the other one is a bit odd, there is a drip from above the oil filter, and somehow, oil is dripping from the front edge of the tranny, but its definately engine oil.
any ideas?
someone sugested oil pressure sender, is it possible that its causing the leak?

Candidates are oil pressure sender, valve cover, intake manifold, distributor.

not valve cover, and not distributor.
where would i find the oil pressure sender?
i had a feel around the oil filter, and there isn't anything there, (except oil, LOL) that would cause a leak.

The oil pressure sender is behind the intake manifold, beside/under the distributor.

Could it be possible its blowing up from the rear main seal?

You sure the oil sending unit is not leaking? If you slide your finger around it and feel any oil then its bad. Also the corners of the valve covers tend to leak, they appear to be dry but oil is spewing out and running right down the ridge of the casting. Again the figner test works good here too.

IF you can, put some dye in the oil. Clean engine where oily very well. Then run engine for a little while and look for dye color. I did this because I have a leak at the back of my intake. Not very bad, but enough to annoy the heck out of me!!! From below, just following oil, it looked like the oil was leaking from the pan. Nope, just above that on the back of intake...
