Plug wires.

I am getting a new set of plugs this week and want to know some of the best. How are Accels?

I've used Accels and I think they're junk. They burn up on headers really easily. Taylors have been the best for headers and durability, but MSD has the lowest resistance on the market.

I have the Taylor Spiro Pro wires with the Made for you wire looms and that combo works really well.

I like plain AC plugs and NGK makes a very good plug for a little more money, don't waste you money on fancy plugs, I don't know anything about Accel plugs but have heard some bad things about them. If you need new wires any brand you can buy for $20-$40 is going to be junk, they will work well but not for long, If you want a good long lasting wire it will cost you, MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wire
has the lowest resistance but the Magnecore KV85 Competition 8.5mm Ignition Cables have the best construction and are the best wires for the price, I paid about $80 for my set of Magnecores.

I like the MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors. These wires are great and have good boots that don't burn up easy. I've also used the Moroso blue max wires and had good luck with them, but I like the MSD's better.

AC Delco Rapidfire plugs @ .045 gap
MSD 8.5mm wires and cap
MSD Blaster 2 coil

I noticed a crisper throttle response w/ this setup (w/ the exception that I have a Hypertech cap, but it's quality sucks)

I am using standard AC plugs (R45TS I think) made for U centerbolt looms and Summit wires...have not had a problem and I have SLP headers.
