hey man... this doesn't help you immediately, but i have a "spare" set of louvers from an '86 camaro (with no hardware), so if you're getting the same kind, and they're the same for camaro's and 'birds, i can get you the section that goes over that brake lite. only catch is... i'm in va., the parts are in fl. however, i'm sure i can arrange for them to be sent to you. the "slats" come apart, so whatever you'd need, like the upper section, lemme know. you do the homework, and i'll help you with the parts, if i can. send me an e-mail, we'll work it out...

see i dunno if that would help me any though, because the ones im getting are a whole 1 piece...i was just figuring that i would take the brake light out because the thing dont work anymore, therefore i can just throw the louvers on because my teacher is selling 2 sets for 50$ to me(1 red, 1 black) and shes got all the hardware for them (brackets and what not)...appreciate the offer though! thanx anyway

are you absolutely sure they're one piece? if they're the ones i'm thinking they are, they look like one piece, but they actually come apart...

On the topic of louvers..I have a question
I want to put louvers on my 86 Camaro, but I was told that I have to get a specific type because of the spoiler? Is there a difference?

the louvers cover the glass part only of the rear hatch. spoilers don't have anything to do with it. i have a '91 with the high-rise spoiler, has louvers on it... i have a '90 iroc with a spoiler on it, too, with louvers... only issue with your year car is that high-mount stop light...
