GLOW STICKS ALL OVER MY CAR!!

Well I’m not having a very good day. I woke up this morning to find my car with glow sticks broken all over it. If that’s not bad enough I can’t get it off. The paints red and for stock paint it’s in good shape but not it looks like crap. Is there anything I can do to get it off? Like clay bar or something?

Maybe it would turn out like what happened to me one to me. I was putting dye in an a/c system and I had just changed my dye injector. My old one you could put in the dye with the system charged, the new one you couldnt. Well when I hooked it up it blew dye all over the truck, and a white truck at that. Stained the crap out of it. Told the customer that it would be taken care of and when he brought it back in 2 weeks the dye had faded away. What does your paint look like now ??

Crap like this goes to show that third gens are still great looking cars. People are envious of them, and I am sick that they don't get the recognition they TRULY DESERVE.
Now, you need to clean your car. I know its painful, but get it as clean as possible. Park the car in the same spot (and I hope this is close to your house). Either wait outside hidden, or record it. Or, you can even relax in the car if you want. I hope they come back (not really, but you know what I mean) and they get their lesson when you jump out and ANIHILATE their inbred asses!
Nuff said!

Well, this probably happened after some retarded techno dance party club let out and the people who did it will never even see the car again much less vandalize it again. As far as removing the glow stick stuff, the only thing you can do is start with the clay bar, move to a cleaner polish, and hopefully by the finishing wax/polish it will be gone. I suggest a buffing wheel or somethign at first and be careful not to get to crazy as we know what will happen then. Good luck. Hopefully you wont have to deal with this issue ever again.

Thanks guys, Hey I know what you mean. Third gens don’t get the respect they deserve. I’ve had my berlinetta for 4 years now and I haft to say it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. Now I’ve had my ups and a lot of downs but I don’t think ill ever be able to get rid of her. I’ve put to much time and work into her to just get rid of her.

YEa bro, hang in there. These cars are nice. I tell you one thing. Your paint is a lot more durable and a lot better protected thus you can probably clean this stuff off without having to worry about damaging anything.

"Most commercial glow sticks are composed of hydrogen peroxide and phenyl oxalate ester. One of these chemicals is incased in a small glass vial within the plastic tube. When the plastic tube is bent, the glass is broken and the two chemicals mix, emitting a light. The color of the light is dependent on the fluorescent dye that is most often stored in the plastic case and not within the glass vial."
