what to do about these cracks?

Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4 Auto
Axle/Gears: 1 legger 2.xx(needs upgrade)
what to do about these cracks?

Should i bondo or just replace?
The rear is a clean rack and so is the front, its not chipped out in the front just the paint is chipped. only cracked which is bad to lol but yea ne ideas will help thanks.

Bondo won't hold. You need to buy a special urethane repair kit.

Just replace it, they are like $50 at a junkyard and you won't have to worry about it coming back.

Bondo's parent company makes a kit for about $20. We've used it on multiple cars without issue, the oldest repair dating back about 7 years and 90,000 miles. That was on a turn signal pocket tear about 3" long on a 92 RS.

EDIT: The company name is Dynatron. I did a quick yahoo search, but didn't turn up anything. We get it at the local Federated or Fisher parts store.

yeah either fix it the way they said up top, or buy an aftermarket one. If you find one from a junk yard you could be looking at the same problem that you have now just a few years down the road.

I've never seen that kind of damage occur just from age.

true. He might get lucky at a junk yard, or he could find more of what he already has.
