1985 BERLINETTA Camaro brake line issue?! HELP!

I need to know roughly how much the front brake lines from the front of the master cylinder to the I believe right front brake is for a 1985 berlinetta camaro, where to find them, and or length and diameter of screw I should be looking for.

I feel like such a newb. This is my first true American Muscle car (cause everyone knows a automatic 1997 Mustang v6 don't count )

Turns out my Berlinetta's battery was fine, just needed a charge but someone decided to cut the front brake line about 5" away from the screw into the master cylinder. FML!

Re: 1985 BERLINETTA Camaro brake line issue?! HELP!

how much ... is

I think it's about 50" but I could be wrong.

They're a metric bubble flare. 6mm line if memory serves, with whatever the "standard" fitting is for that size & type of line. Not worth worrying about what that actually is. You find em in EVERY parts store, in a cardboard box full of sticks of line stood up on end in little vertical "compartments", in all different lengths and both SAE and metric sizes. Common as dirt.

Thanks a million. the previous owner told me they were $400 a line when we traded cars. I was like no way in hell are they THAT expensive.

Okay so what would be the one on the front of the master cylinder right under the brake fluid reservoir? It looks like it goes to the left front brake? Anyone have a diagram???

Re: 1985 BERLINETTA Camaro brake line issue?! HELP!

if memory serves me correctly... on my "85" Berlinetta there was an in line brake fluid equalizing valve that gave me all kinds of problems... especially on the right front brake... but the memory of an ol timer is questionable..))
