Had my install done...Now for the problems
Well i got my system installed at Visions and was impressed with it there is no wire visable anywhere exept for connections at amp and battary....and one day i had it at about half volume (all my ears can handle) lol way to loud and notice some noises and whatnot and i know if the power wire and RCA's on the same side of the car i will get engine noise. So i did a lil investigation and sure enough they are run side by side so i brought it to them and they said it makes no difference and will not make a noise on a sub amp and that only applys to a full range amps, so i want to know if there just trying to lie to me or if there is truth behind if it is a sub amp they can be run with eachother?

I have all of the power and rcas in my car right next to each other with no problems. But thats with my car that I have gone through the wiring and made sure all grounds are up to par throughout the car.
They should have put the wires on both sides and not run tehm together as an extra measure to keep from having noise. to better help you what kind of noise is it high pitch low pitch? it is constant or does it change with the volume level?. Give us an idea of your setup. Most alt noise should be filtered out with an low pass filter but if you have an amp for you other speakers then it could add noise into them.

Well i have 1000 watts with dual 10" 1000 watt subs so i have a fair amount of power but its a sort of low noise that goes up and down with the RPM's of the engine and as a perfessional install i would expect that they would run the wiring properly because everywhere i read that is the #1 nono in car audio it only happens at all volume levels but i can only tell when the gain is turned down but i just kind of figured that for a company to install a system everything would be done properly.
Any input is greatly appreciated i would have pics but my cam died on me i will try again though

well i know for a fact as soon as i say Visonik im gonna get yelled at
but i like it for some reason. I have a pioneer 2700 HU running a 1000 watt Visonik amp with 2 1000 watt Visonik comp subs Stinger cap and all Rockford wiring with a custom built amp rack and ported box and i am still really impressed with it but i wasnt expecting to have them hook it all up for me as i have the knowlige to do it on my own that was just a extra and they threw in all the wiring for free for some reason. I would like some more opinions on this though, I called visions and asked about it and they said they would re-route the wire to the other side if the car free of charge so i am unsure if i should have it done or not

Typically if you use the low pass crossover on the amp with a sub-amp you will not notice alternator whine because the frequency of the noise is well above your crossover frequency.
