C100 connector removal

I should have titled "terminal removal" not connector...

Does anyone know if a wire/terminal can be removed from the inside of the car without disassembling the C100 connector on the firewall?
I believe I've found my intermittent power drop to Acc fuse and headlights. You can see black heat marks above the Red wire in G5.

Yes, you can use a de-pin tool and pull out the terminal. Disconnect the connections from the firewall side first.

You have to remove the TPA (white comb that keeps the terminals from backing out) before trying to depin it. I believe it's possible to get it out from the engine bay side but YMMV.

No you can but you need to disconnect the two main harnessed on the firewall side and slide up the comb shaped retainer. Then you can depin.

That is correct, the catch is on the engine side and the two halves must be separated to get to it.

Here's a better view of the terminal:

You can see how you will have to probe from the right side of the image above, (Engine side), and bend the tab down to release the terminal.

Re: C100 connector removal

Thanks to those who replied. With that and the link above, this wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be.
I left the 2 connectors alone on the engine side, only removing the center 1/4" bolt. I did remove the right side grease cover for easier access to the bolt...mostly visual.

Pulled the 2 connectors off together. Then slid the white grid looking terminal lock far enough to get to the bottom row I needed. Used a small jewelers screwdriver and pushed in on top of the terminal to unlock its tang and removed the wire from the interior side.

The terminal didn't look terrible, some heat and some hard grease. So I used some cleaner, a small bristle brush, and reapplied some dielectric grease and put it back together.
So far so good.

Glad you got it. Thanks for linking to the C100 thread. Didn't know about that one.
