85 iroc tpi to 383 stealth ram
Hi all ,
I'm new to swapping motors and bought a stealth ram with computer off a 90-92 tpi camaro with a harris stage 2 chip from a member here.
We'll the member was supposed to include the harness but didn't. Which comes to my question. Am I able to use the Camaro stock tpi harness to install the used holley stealth ram intake.
I don't know the brand of injectors just know that it was 47 lbs.
I'll try to get pics up if helps.

Yes you can use the stock harness but the chip won't be the same for the ECM and those injectors will be overkill for your set up.

[/IMG]ok, so my 383 is in the hole got it all hooked up from lots of threads i read on here. now i read i need to take out my 85 ecm and put in a 90-92 computer to make it run so i can burn eproms. and run a laptop to it. cant find that thread i thought i saved it to reference it later. but any info will help.
right now i have the computer hooked up and i dont get the fuel pump sound and nothing happens when i turn the key. also what is the yellow plug for on the computer?

You cant use 90-92 speed density 3 plug ecm on 85-89 maf 2 plug ecm harnesses.
You need to do the conversion from 85 maf to 91 speed density to use that ecm and chip, or make new chip for the 85 which i wouldnt recommend. I'd get a 165 ecm from 86-89 along with the maf and tune with that

yes a commander 950 will work. when holley started making the stealth ram they had the 950 system and not all these new ones. just have to look thru all their tunes and find one close to yours to get a good start then tweak it to your engines personal needs because more than likely they wont a tune perfect for a custom 383.
