damn hedman headers

i have hedmen header for my car and it sucks because..

1.passenger side fit no problem...but the driverside is a different story.first off the header wouldnt line up with the cylinder head cause the header pipe hits the engine crossmember.ok after beating to fit right u find out u have another problem

2 damn pipe is the way of the sparkplug wtf.

now what is a good header for a sbc.. hooker?

What part number is that? I had NO problem dropping mine in from the top. I didn't have to lift the engine or anything. In fact I didn't even have to remove the spark plugs on the passenger side. I found that ALL of the plugs and wires are easier to change, but you must use a combo wrench to get the plugs.

I can easily slip my heddman full tubes in from the bottom, I had to whack the ear off the tranny though. Yeah, as far as changing plugs are concerned, these heddmans are about the easiest I've seen. I removed the air box though.

I have Heddmen's on mine. After jacking up the engine, it was no problem dropping them in, they clear all the plugs, just have to get creative when I have to change them.

What do you mean interfear? That there is'nt enough clearance between your spark plug boot and the header. I wish I would have ordered angle plug heads after seeing the minimal clearance between my boots and the tubes. I have the Taylor 8.8 and their boots are big square things (I've already cinged the edges off cause they're soo close) plus it would have helped if they were all 90 degree boots instead of 1 straight boot.

what i mean is u could barely put the sparkplug in.i barely could tightened it with the wrench.this total bullsh$T why would they make a header where they put the pipe in the way of number 3 sparkplug.my heads are angled sparkplug head and still in the way.

I've got World Products heads, and had NO problem whatsoever... I use a combo wrench to get the plugs all from the top. I used to have to get the back two from underneath with my manifolds.

What model WP heads are you running?
