Hedman Long Tube Headers/700R4

Hello Good Morning, What are my options for this setup? It seems as though a dual exhuast setup is not as feasible as I would like (Ground Clearance/Crossmember). I also would like information on Oxygen Sensors. My car came with an Air/Fuel Ratio guage (Brand/Type unknown). It appears to have been getting a signal from the stock Oxygen Sensor. I would prefer not to tap my headers if possible. I noticed there are some reducers with an oxygen sensor bung attached, anyone have any feedback on these?

you will be able to put long tubes on but it will kill about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches of ground clearance depending on how tight you manage to make the y-pipe. As fas as the o2 sensor goes you WILL have to upgrade to a heated sensor due to it being so far away from the exhaust port for your engine to operate properly in close loop. there is no issues of putting a hole in your collectors for the sensor and if you want to keep the use of the af gauge you just put a second sensor in the other header collector

if you do a search you will find tons of pictures of long tube set ups. myself I have shorties on the car snaking around a moroso 7qt kick out oil pan..... it is being redisigned due to only having 2 1/2 inches of ground clearance at the K-member

Well, I went with the Above Mentioned Setup. I really like it! Haven't driven the car too much, so I'll get back to you guys on my Ground Clearance. I'll snap some photo's soon. Apparently the guy who did the Welding was nice enough to TIG Weld the Y Pipe and Connections!!

Well, after driving around with 14" wheels is the front I can now attest to the unfeasiblity of Long Tube Headers. It would of been fine I think had I run a 16" wheel but the added clearance I lost with the 14" wheels completely ate up my Y-Pipe!! Took it off yesterday
