Which brand of chambered should I get, Summit or Jegs?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-638253

OR

http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performan...30232/10002/-1

I had a Mag-flow + 2055s-junk (then LTs and straights-WIN) now I have Hooker-max flow (still LTs, LTs for LIFE).

Kinda chasing a sound and what not. I miss my LTs and straight sound but it was to loud at cold idle....(neb-hood) and some times I just wanted it to "shut up".

A cut out is not an option...I have -WAY- to much money in this already and still have a full build and a trans to pay for.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hok-21630hkr

This is the less than 2-week old Max-flow that I have which will be going up for sale ($60 shipped)

Who has which 1 and do you like it? Also any other comments on these to?

-Chambered muffler only in here-

Both look like Flowmaster knock offs, Probably made for both speed shops by the same company. Summit is cheaper so that's what I would do.

Trash master is a knock off, for they need to be knocked off. Pics are just pics, I care about the inside and the sound. But that is a possiblity as well...

I have a Flowmaster on my car and it sounds and runs great and would probably really annoy you because theres a preaty good chance you would be behind it. But all kidding aside, you asked for an opionion and I gave you one.

Those $30 summit mufflers look a lot like Thrush welded mufflers. Same price, size, look, and offset inlet of the one I have on my car. I like the sound of it and it's not expensive

Just got my summit street strip muffler in the mail today. I should be able to get it installed over the weekend and post a vid. I'm replacing a way too quiet hooker areo chamber.

Did you give the hooker the time it takes to break a muffler in? Also how long have you had it?

Never understood why people put dual carbs on such a mild motor. Also there's no way that's going to sound anything similar to a car that has 6' of exhaust tubing between the muffler and headers.

Also never understood why people like chambered mufflers

Carry on

I've had the areo chamber for two years... I think its a great sounding muffler at WOT but idle and cruise are just way to mellow for me. In 5th gear cruisin my car sounds stock lol

Here is a video of my areo chamber, I have a bit of an exhaust leak in this video but i will post this and then a video of the summit muffle later toady.
