I was riding with a female friend of mine and she stopped and we got some drive-thru at Burger King. The food came and we hit the road and she starts eating and she goes.."your foods gonna get cold.." I politely declined to eat in her car even though she was. Long story short it got me to thinking..

Am I the only person who imposes rules on my passengers? All my friends know that:

1) No smoking/food/drink.
2) Only the driver changes the radio station in my car.
3) Only I drive my car.

 

no smoking and no rap music the only requirments i demand in my vehicles.

 

some smoking in my car, no food or drinks in my car, and dont touch my radio!

 

1) No smoking
2) All drinks must have lids/caps
3) Music is chosen at my discretion
4) If someone else is driving, they can only move the seat forward/back. No adjusting the angle/height/etc.
5) Please, please, please wipe the snow/mud/debris off your feet before boarding!

Radio doesn't bother me too much, as long as it is good music.

4. No nakedness unless you're a female.

Yes, I took it out to save a few ounces. I've decided to just turn my Camaro into nearly a track only car. It will see the road again, just never over 5,000 miles per year, if I'll even hit 1,000.

I'm even going to pick myself up some of them fancy seats with no recline lever majigger thing. Hardcore stuff, eh?

had no way of getting around it

4.) The most important rule.....NO TOUCHING THE DASH PAD, for some strange reason anybody that rides in my iroc decides they need to grab the dash, and it drives me crazy, because my dash is in perfect shape

 

Im pretty laid back about my car.
-NO PETS ALLOWED! Unless ur a girl and Im gunna get something out of it later.
-DO NOT pull on any loose parts or play with my already cracked dash, and no ripping at my crapy weatherstripping!
-No standing/sitting on my hood, only I am allowed to do hood slides!
-No guys are allowed to drive my car except me, once again ill let girls, normally they are scared of the power compared to there granny car.
-Only I can change the music unless you ask and Im in a good mood.
-Pick up anything that you drop in her
-No complaining about my driving/speed
-No screaming when Im racing somebody
-Passangers are only allowed to yell at the hott girls, without bfs with them, saftey of my car in mind
-No spitting out my windows!

A lot of rules are getttin ready to change once I get her painted and get the interior re upholstered!!!

 

1) Nobody drives her but me (learned it the hard way when I let my friend drive it and he drifts in a school parking lot)

4)If u don't like my driving, GET OUT!

I've only had eight different people, and one dog, once, in my car in 22 years of ownership, not including the odd service dude!!

All the rules above apply, especially the no food, no drink, no smoking, don't touch the radio, and no one else drives my car rules!!!

I tried to institute the "girls have to ride naked rule", but then I got to figuring that snail trails don't look good on black seats, so I nixed that idea!!



As long as the clothes are clean, your good to go!!!

I have similar rules myself. Here is my list of 31 do's and don't of riding in my vehicles. (Though one is specific to T-Top cars)

1) No smoking in, on, near, or around the car at any time. Chewing tabaco is also not allowed in the car.
2) No food or drinks. Sealed beverage containers are OK, so long as they are clean. Food may be carried in appropriate containers I deem safe, but never consumed in the vehicle.
3) I am the only person allowed to drive the car.
4) No feet on the dash.
5) Do not roll windows up or down. Only I get to do that.
6) No leaning against my car.
7) No sitting on my car.
8) No pets in my car.
9) No cargo that will scrape up my plastics/rip interior
10) No muddy/dirty/wet shoes/clothing in the car
11) Don't touch any of the controls aside from letting yourself out when we get where we are going and operating the seat belt.
12) No children
13) No child seats
14) Do NOT slam the doors when entering or exiting the vehicle.
15) No crappy drum solos to music on any surface within the vehicle at any time.
16) Don't leave your crap in my car.
17) Always return sun-visors to their upright position when exiting the vehicle.
18) Do not leave the seat belt twisted. Straighten the damn thing out when you take it off.
19) Do not just let go of the seat belt and allow it to slam into random parts of the interior when you get out.
20) Never, under any circumstances mess with the T-Top release lever.
21) No one rides in the back seats. Ever.
22) Do not leave bodily fluids inside my vehicle. This includes your snot, vomit, spit, or "other" fluids.
23) If you got something passed me, and you make a mess in the car, YOU will be cleaning it up until I am satisfied with the results.
24) You do not invite your friends to ride in my car with you, or instead of you at any point, for any reason.
25) You may not volunteer me to give rides to anyone.
26) I like to park far away from other human beings and their cars. You are not allowed to bitch about the walking distance when I do this.
27) Passengers are not allowed to bitch about my driving.
28) Passengers may not bring anything illegal into the vehicle at any point, for any reason.
29) No fat chicks.
30) I will not modify any vehicle rule at any time for any reason so do not ask me to. You are wasting your time trying.
31) No rule applies to me unless I wish it to. (Which 95% of the time I follow these rules without exception.)

3. dont cuss like its going out of style
4. use common sence and dont do whatever you think you probaly shouldnt
5. dont holla at an girl,friend, or anyone else and dont yell in the car
6. absolutely no farting, burping, scratching your head, picking your teeth, or anything gross or annoying.
7. drinks/food is ok but an cap is required and if you eat leave the windows down and be VERY careful also always bring napkins.
8. stomp your feet before you get in and please try to advoid walking in mud before you get in and if you step in dog crap your shoes are going off and into a bag in the back.
9. No very strong smelling cologne or pefume, i dont mine a little but just make sure you didnt just use a full bottle of it.
10. do not talk crap about other people's vehicle and no keying or damaging other vehicles.
11. absolutely no drugs or alchole and no doing illegal acts and then using me/my car as an getaway vehicle.
12. dont ride if you look like you just came back from jogging 80 miles or if you are scroungy looking.
13. absolutely no driving/starting/reving the car unless im drunk/to tired and it would be unsafe for me to drive and then absolutley no crazy driving.
14. if you are to talk about anything i dont like were going have problems.
15. no just letting people ride unless i know them.
16. i dont mind about turning down the radio or windows but just dont turn up the radio or blast heater/ac.
17. no bitching about if you want me to pass a car or something similar.
18. no arguing with me about anything like what road is faster and just flat out dont argue.
19. dont bitch about the car or put it down in anyway.
20. dont TRY to get me in trouble by speeding, passing, etc.
21. animals are ok but keep him/her in your lap.
22. no spitting out of the window and if you need to fart get very far away from the car and stay out for an bit.
23. dont leave any trash or any of your possecians in the car and defintly nothing vauable out.
24. no uneeded movement in or out of the car and dont even think of throwing or placing anything at or on the car.
25. dont ask me why im so strict about the car, why its gotta be so clean, why do i park so far away etc.
26. dont even think of smoking in or near the car and dont even open a pack of cigs i hate the smell of stail cigs.
27. no dirty clothing and dont even think of bringing in a gross smell.
28. no tearing away fingernails, skin, hair, etc.
29. no tearing up paper even though you say your going to clean up i know thats never going to happen.

 

I am so in on this I can't stand passengers!

1. No one under any circumstances drives her other than me or my wife... I don't care if I am bleeding out of my eyes!

2. Don't touch my radio!!!! Wife only exception to this rule... Why because she's my wife.

3. If you even think about lighting a cigarette near or in her I will break your fingers!

4. Keep you grubby mits off the paint.. There are door handles for a reason.

5. Clean your shoes off before you get in the car.

6. Pets are ok as long as they are clean.. Pretty much just covers my dog.

7. KEEP YOUR FEET OFF MY DASH!!!!!!!!!

8. Keep your rear off the hood. They dent moron...

9. No eating or drinking in the back seat... I swear someone always spills in the back seat...

10. keeps your shoes off the back of the seats...

I am sure I have at least 10 more but these are the main ones.

 

Yeah I try to avoid carrying passengers in my vehicles when it all possible.

I like the vast majority of these rules. Strange in it's own way, but I prefer to drive alone rather than having a passenger.

10) No muddy/dirty/wet shoes/clothing in the car-EVER.

Touching or adjusting my DVD/Radio controls is cause for immediate ejection at the point you touch the head unit. All blown speakers and amps must be paid for immediately.

Pretty much all the above rules apply to mine, but one I haven't seen is DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS ON ANY OF MY GLASS, INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. My wife knows this and does it when she's feeling frisky and wants to mess with me. The only ones aloud to mess with my radio and not get put out on the side of the road is my daughters.

 

Just clean up after yourself, and don't let the doors bounce against the hinges when you open the door and were all good

But seriously nothing crazy it's just a car ride, you can adjust the seats (though no one does) change the song (if it's good) or mess with the a/c (it still won't work no matter how hard you try) I don't really care.

1 rule though: You are the cupholder

 

No sitting, leaning, scratching, touching, etc to the exterior/paint (unless it's to open the door).

I've had multiple cars with big scratches because some friend wants to lean his *** up against my car with keys in it, or lean their forearms on the trunk only to end up with a big watch band gash, I've also had dogs paw the paint before and end up with deep scratches. No one go near the paint and we'll all be happy.

Also please don't throw up, it's not a rule but be courteous and open the door or roll down the window or puke in your shirt or just swallow it or hold it in your hands or rub it in your hair I dont care, just anywhere but my carpet or seats.

 

I'm fairly lax about what goes in my car, smoking is ok (no crack tho), as well as eating drinking (non alcoholic) etc. However, if you spill/burn anything I shall cave your face in. Some drugs are ok, but only if I get some. NO YELLING, jesus I people who yell. And if you touch the radio you might as well start tying your noose.

ok here is my list of rules for my car. every single one was made after some one did one of these things and almost all of them are ignored by people i cant kick out (my parents)

-DO NOT try to "open" the t-tops (its not a dam sun roof )
-No smoking (car was never smoked in.then my mom smoked in it for a month and now my headliner sags)
-eating and drink are fine but if u spill u die
-no pushing on the dash to help your self get out the car ( dont know y but people always do)
-no using the car as a cargo van (carpet padding from dash to thetip of the back. took for ever to get all the fuzz out and bent my privacy shade)
-when u open the door dont hit anything. (for obvious resons)
-but u close the door make sure the seat belt buckle isnt in the door jam (happens way to much)
-every thing u bring in the car u take when u leave ( for some resone people love to leave there coats in my car)
-no driving my car. (bad things happen when u cant haddle the power of a stock lo3 )
-no leaning on the car (for obvious resons)
-no closing the door by the window (for obvious resons)

and thats about it. but when i first got my car i had no rules every single one of my rules if from it happing more then once

 

1) Sit down,
2) Shut Up ( like I could hear you anyway),
3) and hold on.

Nothing else is permitted within the confines or within a 20 foot radius of my car.
