I plan on putting the stock shifter back in my 1992 camaro eventually, and I found a shift plate on ebay for a reasonable price. I just need the shifter itself. I need pictures of the wiring and shifter from all sides if that's possible. Installed in the car, and maybe some pics of it not installed? I just want to make sure I get the right things with the shifter when I buy it or get it from a junkyard.

I may be able to help you. I took some pics when I did a neutral safety switch replacement. Ill have to find them on my PC after work today and see if they have what your looking for.

If I remember correctly the pics would show the wiring to the shifter as well as the sfift plate, ****, and neutral safety switch removed. I didnt remove the entire shift assembly though I probably should. There is so much change in there its unbeleivable. I got as much out as i could reach there was actually a penny jammed under the shifter which was making it hard to switch gears. I still have the penny its all bent and torn up.

Not sure what shifter plate your looking at but correct for a 1992 would be yellow lettering which aren't easy to find.

 

THe one I found was off of a 1992 camaro rs anyway which is the same as my car. This guy is selling a lot of parts from his 1992 rs on ebay. Take a look!
