4th gen Radiator. What are you using for the upper hold down?
Was test fitting what I was told was a 4th gen radiator into my 3rd gen yesterday. The factory 3rd gen radiator is wider so the rubber cushion in the hold down doesn't line up with the 4th gen radiator. What are you guys using for a hold down?

I used the stock upper, I had used it in another vehicle at one point so I had already trimmed the ends off to about the outer edge of where the rubber mounts are. I also had to trim the depth at the back so it would hold the fans onto the radiator, I wound up cutting off all the provisions for the 3rd gen fan. I think one rubber cushion lined up, but Ii don't remember what I did for the other side.

I'm having the same issue. I was hoping to use the 4th gen radiator because of the way the fans and a/c condenser are secured to it. May just use a 3rd gen radiator and make some brackets to secure the fans

Took a couple of pics of mine. I have the cushions on the bottom, but nothing on top. Again, I had trimmed this for another project, but you wouldn't need to cut off as much as I did

I used a stock replacement radiator and stock single fan. LS3 with 6L80 additional trans cooler infront of AC condenser. No problems, even in southern heat [on trips] and AC cranked
