Re: Ohio?
so the 2500 stall didnt work so well for street driving lol
swapped back in a stock one
whats funny was ive been playing around with 700r4 govenors
the my cars stock gov when it was tbi shifts at 4400 1-2 4100 2-3
lol no wonder it was complete crap as tbi
i tried the 85 iroc gov from the blown trans shifts at 6400 1-2 6200 2-3 but in the 85 trans it was 5500 1-2 and 5300 2-3 odd
that will work well when i do the lt1 intake swap
i found a gov from a 92 full size van and it shifts at 5800 1-2 5500 2-3 ie perfect
the zz3 cam pulls hard up to 6000 but falls off after that even with tpi im expecting it to pull harder with the lt1 intake swap
once that happens ill need a tune like crazy lol

Re: Ohio?
Dave the anti lag is dot on at 4psi right now at 2600rpms in drive holding still on those crappy old slicks I have. Im going to make passes and turn up the rpms 100 at a time and see how high I can hold it. The boost will be back at the 11.5-12psi it was when I was making the 13.0 passes. I drove it the other day and beside the amazing burnouts it seems to come out of the antilag nicely and not bogg out or anything like that.
Ill post up the results though. I just want a dam 12 second pass...but if I can make somesort of 12.70-80 pass Ill literly go out and kiss my car...lol.

haha im the same way even if i know im going to get my butt kicked, its still fun to try.
swapped out the cam in the iroc again and as u can see it built 6/7psi just free reving , havent had a chance to drive it yet since the battery took a dump on me, i have to jump the car to start it , and if i turn on the fans with the jumper cables disconected the engine shuts off , guess this massive heat wave we got killed the battery , cause it was fine 2 weeks ago

Heh, not good. ICM took a dump on him we believe. Hopefully he can get it fixed for tomorrow.
Oddly enough, my first pass, I did my burnout, then blew the upper radiator hose off coming out of the burnout box. He helped push me out. 15 minutes later, his car was acting up coming out of the burnout box, and I helped push him out. Long night!
Finally got my car where it should be. 12.36 @ 111, with a 1.84 60'. Spun so bad I had to let off. This thing should be 12.0x pretty easily

Re: Ohio?
It was the excitor ring on the dizzy. Somehow all three screws are missing. So I had to put it back on and the car ran good. It was pretty hot. I forgot to shift into 3rd on a pass and It was up to 6700rpms before I shifted...opps. My cam just suxs for high rpms so much that I don't need a dyno to tell, all I need is my butt dyno. Needless to say it ran a 13.30 on that pass, then in elimination I went a 13.11@92mph. I dumped it so hard the car swerved a bit..lol. Looking at the 1/8 mile times on the dumped pass it was online for a 12.90's pass so the car is back to where its suppose to be.

Re: Ohio?
What's up guys? Been busy here with traveling and fixing up the GTA. I just replaced the center link, inner and outer tie rods, and ball joints. Also installed a Champion 3 core radiator and 24,000 GVW hayden plate style tranny cooler. I drove it down to Ellenton, fl. for 3 weeks and other than a blown heater core and stripped headlight motor, it did great and got up to 23 MPG on the way there. Good times were had, drinks were drank, women were bedded, and relationships were destroyed bwahahaha. Even got to live my dream of driving on Daytona Beach! Good times indeed.

New best of a 12.88 this morning at the track. 1.76 60 ft time and man it felt strong at the line. I love the new line lock and tach with shift light. I can hold that puppy at the line all day @ 3k rpms now. Makes it so much easier. Ill post up a slip later after i get some sleep. Been up 27 hrs and counting at the moment. Late night of racing when you get your first round in at 7am...lol

Couple pictures. I finally got the under hood area painted nicely. I added some stonger valve springs, retainers to match, and seals over the weekend so figured id clean up the valve covers, intakes and hood. And YES I finally dont need to use pvc pipe to hold the hood up!
