What kind of power can I expect from this build? Also do i need to get new manifolds/headers to accommodate the EGR?

You'd definitely need to do something to accommodate the EGR as the vette setup differs as you noted, being in CA.
LT4 hotcam is a decent mild cam.

Don, what's the compression ratio? If Steve does not take the engine, I am interested. Yes, the L98 I bought from you is coming along nicely. I still have room for more engines!

It is 10.5
The EGR tube can be added to the right side header, but you would need an aftermarket intake or one from a Corvette.

Thanks. Will the L98-LB9 exhaust manifolds and Y-pipe fit up or are the exhaust ports located differently?

Used both L98 cast iron and the 113's, they both bolt up to stock iron exhaust from the L98..
