bleed screw
i need help, today i bled my brakes, or tried to...i was only able to do the rear brakes, when i went to the front the screw was so damn tight it was being a pain to get loose , and tips? , i used a socket for the rear drums<so easy with a socket wrench...i went to autozone and the *******s didnt even know what size wrench i should use to loosen it, what size should i get, i was using a 10mm socket but the 10mm wrench didnt work,

nope they were all off , suprised i got to the back ones easily, i had purchased a 10 mm wrench but it didnt fit?, maybe i picked up the wrong one, damn autozone

If you're bleeding the brakes just pull the caliper compeltely off and put it in a vice or something to hold it down while you yank away. Easier angle.

hm i was thinking about that, will a 3/8 wrench fit the bleed screw, i accidently picked up the 3/8 bleed wrench instead of the 10mm, i heard the 10mm is a hair wider?

My bleeder snapped off (see my thread) and I even used a lot of PB Blaster prior to attempting to turn it. Some people just get no luck.

i got it to open bro, yeh i peeped your thread, that sucks, i was thinking about that when i was gently trying to pry the old screws open, good thing they didnt snap on me ,, now i just have ****ter breaks, im going to have to bench bleed the mc and do the whole process over AGAIN, another 5 bucks for fluid and another 5 for the kit
btw i used a bleeder wrench, 10 mm, dont do what i did and pick up the 3/8 by accident, so identical yet so different
