not happy with pa k-member
not happy with pa k-member
after countless hours i finnaly have my k-member in. I started at like 5 or so and got done at 4am. now I have use of air tools, a lift and my motor was already out of the car! it fit the chassis well but damn the control arms would not go in for shiz!!!!!!!!!!! i ended up cutting a huge "window" in my control arm to make them fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it took me several fittments to get it right ! now I have to box in the bottom of the control arm to strengthen it back up. I had to take a big chunk out for it to work properly!!! all it would do is bind on the main hoop where it bends upwards. i am not a happy camper. I will be calling them to let them know it didnt fit for crap.......
now there customer service was good to me I will sya that. I had to swap this one for one I had that had no spring perches. so I cant complain about that...
I am still very aggrivated, and tired.........

I know people have had huge problems with theirs. I have read all the threads.
I just want to say that I bought mine way before I knew about TGO and its vast ocean of wisdom. I got it off ebay shipped to my door with perches and A-arms for $575. I have my motor out and tossed mine in, in about 45 minutes max. And that is only cuz i had to go back in the house to find the right bolts.
Fitment was perfect and the A-arms sit in there just right. The only thing I had to do was lube up a bushing to have it slide in better. THat was it.

Just my 2 cents.

Dunno if you are reffering to me, but I am not running a rack. I am running an aftermarket manual streering box. If you are reffering to the guy that had the bad experience then my bad for butting in.
