The only adjustable sway bars I've seen just have adjustable end-links. Basicly a spring that could be adjusted.

------------------
350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

I haven't seen pictures, I just know it attaches at the end of the bar. replacing the end link. It allows you to somehow change the leverage of the bar so it acts stiffer or softer.

I think it alsoha to do with when you can the ride height of you car, this way you don't have to mess with resizing teh end links. Just a guess though. This is one of the reasons I want them. Second my friend had them on his car and it handle like it was on rails.

If you don't see any point to adjustable Anti-roll bars, then don't post on this thread. :P

The point of an adjustable Anti-roll bar (swaybar) is to allow the bar to be softened or stiffened to tune the chassis at the track. Adjustable endlinks are necessary to "zero" the bar. That is to make sure there is no force on the bar when at ride height (driver in seat 1/2 tank of fuel). None of this is necessary on a street car, but it is very important on a track car.

When you get really tricky, you can have driver adjustable bars to compensate for diminishing fuel loads (among other factors) during a race.

any more questions for the smartasses?

Clem
