Aftermarket LCA Bushings Same as Stock?
I am awaiting the arrival of LCAs I bought from an online auction. I knew the bushings wouldn't come with the LCAs.
What I'd like to know is will Energy Suspension, PST, or other poly urethane bushings intended for stock LCAs fit any aftermarket LCA that uses poly urethane bushings? I looked for a "universal" LCA bushing kit, but there doesn't seem to be one in existance.

The stock replacement poly bushings won't work in your aftermarket LCAs because they have the metal clamshell around them.
Not all aftermarket poly LCA bushings are the same. They all vary depending on what size tubing the bushing is going in. Our bushings for example are custom made to our specifications for the tubing size we use.
Best bet is to call the manufacturer of the LCAs and get the bushings from them.

Thanks Steve. That would be tough to determine because the person I bought the LCAs from doesn't know who manufactured them either. I do know that they are gold cadmium or iridite plated. They also looksimilar to your LCAs but these are made from rectangular tubing.

Look in some magazines, I've seen them advertised. It's Performance Suspension, or Just Suspension, something like that. They mainly advertise front end rebuild kits, but they also sell those zinc plated boxed LCAs.

Thanks again Steve. I'll go and check those ads out.

What Are These things on the LCAs?
My LCAs finally arrived.
What I want to know is what are these "tangs" with holes in them for?
These are rectangular tubing LCAs that are gold cadmium plated and has these "tangs" with holes welded to the top/bottom side of the arms. Could these be Lakewood's "Traction Action Lift Bars" without the axle braket?
I bought these arms with no bushings in them and I knew about it before buying it on ebay.com. The guy who sold it to me said it was for 3rd gen F-cars, but he doesn't remember who made them.
Anyone have gold cadmium plated LCAs?
