Save your money. It will not allow 15% airflow. If you are trying to squeeze every last cfm out of the stock TBI than go for it. It is really cheap, they usualy go for 20 but I would use that money towards something else.

The spacer that I have is a .5" TBI spacer. It sits between the TBI unit and the intake manifold. The only reason that I have this is to get my open air element to clear the top of my distributor. They can add meassureable power to carb applications but I doubt they do anything for the mighty LO3. What you have found on ebay there is a spacer that goes between the injector pod and the TBI unit. It sorta backs your your injectors from being to deep in the TBI unit allowing a little more air in.

Just double the injector pod gaskets. It works just as good and is cheaper. I even got a extra gasket from the junkyard for free! Thanks, Bobby

did tbis not come from the factory with that spacer? im asking because every tbi ive seen has that exact same spacer. my car had it when i bought it. and when i got my metering assembly at the bone yard, i watched the man remove it from the base and it had a 1/4 in spacer also. i was gonna get it too but he broke it trying to remove the assembly. so did tbis come with these spacers, or is it just a coencidence that the tbis ive seen had them them previously installed?

that is not the 1/4" spacer, it is an 1/8" gasket. Thats why people just say add another gasket.
