Interesting theory. Sounds like it would need some serious R&D work, though. Sounds too much like the electric powered "turbos" on eBay.

working for me... I actually got a "this page is currently being updated" message.. but I saw it earlier today anyway..
and it sounds better than those stupid electric turbos ... might actually do something.. I'd hope so anyway.. cause 50hp for $300 and it never runs out? that's a damn good deal.

How are they doing this? Is it a tank of O3 they're spraying into the intake tract? If it's not...BS. I can't see the article, but by the responses I'm seeing I'm guessing not.

I only got the updating soon screen but if you mix ozone with any cfc it will break it down to it down to an O2 molicule and an oxexgen atom (I think, I took chem 4 years ago so no flames if I'm wrong) which would have the same effect as NO2 but better. I'm not sure if ozone (O3) itself burns though.

Ground level ozone is smog, it wouldn't make to past the clean air guys. You can't use ozone for combustion, so it would need to be converted to oxygen at some point, not a simple task under the hood of a car.
EDIT: Using CFCs is illegal already, because of the fact that it breaks down ozone.
