Almost No Brakes
Finally get my car running good but the brakes seem worse than ever. Not sure if this could be a vacuume problem or not. The brakes seem to be really hard (Pedal doesnt move much) but stopping power seems to really suc. My cam only has like a 480 or so lift so i should have enough vacuume. Anybody have any ideas. Possably master cylinder or proportioning valve. It seems th have a little excess brake dust on the passenger rear tire. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Sure sounds like a brake booster or unpluged vacuum line. A hard pedle 99% is a bad brake booster and soft pedle that you can pump up 99% is a bad master cylindar.

The early "Chevelle" was originally called "Chevy 2 Malibu" for the first couple of years, then a "Chevy 2 Chevelle", then they dropped the "Chevy 2" designation altogether from both the Chevelle and Nova. Nowadays most people have forgotten that; the only "Chevy 2" that people remember being called that, was the "Chevy 2 Nova".

Well I replaced the booster and that didnt fix it. It feels like its getting plenty of vacuume though. Could it be the master cylinder or the porp valve. Any other Ideas

Master cylinder. I've gone through 2 in my car.
Take it for a ride around your neighborhood if you can, Make sure your e-brake works just incase. If it stops fine, and then you have no pedal next time, or if it's only an intermittent (sp??) problem...best bet is to replace the master cylinder.
Let me rephrase that. If you still have brakes, but a soft as hell pedal, and every so often your pedal is fine and the car stops like a dream, it's your master cylinder.
