You will likely need a higher stall torque converter to dip into the 13s. It ain't easy with a 305.
edelbrock performer rpm, 750cfm carb, stock ported heads, 1800rpm stall, headman shorty headers with Y pipe.
Or you could just get a edelbrock tbi perforemer manifold and upgrade the injectors, if you are just keeping the 305, its not worth it to rip the fuel injection off.

The best intake you can put on it right now would be a set of good headers. All the intake in the world won't do you a bit of good if whatever you can cram into the motor can't get back out.
The bottlenecks in that motor are, in order of importance: the exhaust, every single piece from the heads to the street; the cam; the heads; the air filter; and then after all that is opened up, the intake and TB. Spend your money wisely on the weakest link instead of slamming the romantic-looking highly visible bolt-on to the top of the motor that accomplishes nothing.

I should also add, before you need to waste money on the intake manifold "eye candy", you also need a decent rear gear. You have 2.73s now, the worst choice of all those avaliable in these cars from a performance point of view. That's not an engine mod per se, but is essential to get your money's worth out of whatever you do to the motor.

Thus a roughly 2200 rpm torque converter ought to make that Camaro come off the line pretty well, compared to most other setups
