CUTTING OUT AT 2500 ISH
HI I HAVE A 85 FIREBIRD TA HAD A 305 NOW HAS A 93 350 WITH THE TPI SWAPED FROM THE 305 THE CAR RUNS GOOD EXCEPT WHEN YOU HAMMER IT IT ACTS LIKE YOU TURN OFF THE KEY WHEN IT HITS 3000 AND UP IF YOU FEATHER IT YOU CAN GET 2800 BUT NO MATTER WHAT I DO I CANT GET IT TO RUN PAST THAT RPM IS IT TOO SMALL INJECTORS FUEL PRESSURE IS 35 WITH THE PRESSURE REG CONNECTED AND 42 WHEN ITS NOT BUT I AM LOST AS OF WHAT TO DO ANY HELP IS GREATLY THANKFULL!!

I JUST CHANGED THE INGITION CONTROL MOD YESTERDAY KEEP GETTING A CODE 44 WITCH IS LEAN EXHAUST

according to my obd2 guide it says "HO2S Bank 1 Sen 3 Heater Circuit High" which means your o2 sensor is bad. Bank 1 sensor 3 is which o2 sensor is the one that needs to be replaced.

it only has one oxygen senser and i purchased a new one when i did the swap so ant other ideas

the computer is stock and i just replaced the tps sensor and it still does it does any one have anymore ideas i dont have any codes and it seems to depend on where i set the tps when it cuts out with the tps is set to the specified setting it cuts out out at 3000 so what is going on does any one know

got it the fuel pump was generating sufficant pressure but was NOT genreating enough fule volume basicly we hooked a pressure gauge up and at idle i had 47 +- psi but when you increased the throttle or snaped it to wot the pressure droped to 20 psi because the engine was consuming more fuel than the pump could provide therefor starving the engine and thats why it would run at idle and 1/4 throttle and fell on its face at 2500 ish. thanks for everyones help
