89 Iroc 350 TPI won't start
Hey guys
My car ran fine Thursday ( 06/11/2015). Went to start it Friday ( 06/12/15) when I got home and "nothing" no cracking, just nothing. like starter is disconnected.
Battery is good, power to everything else, but nothing to engine/starter. It's the original starter in the car I'm thinking the starter, and or solenoid died and that's the issue. Been so long since I've had to deal with any issues with this car I don't remember.
Any suggestions ?

Take a 12v test light that is hooked to ground and test...
The large starter wire, it should have power all the time.
The small starter wire, it should have power only when cranking.

Tap on starter, make sure the cables are clean and tight.

Man, the dreaded VATS. Even if so, you can find how to get around it on this forum. Just search VATS. Shoot, YouTube has videos on how to get around it.

If its auto make sure its in park or the switch on the shifter is engaged in park if not then it wont start
