my RS has got an exhaust, 3.73 posi, 85k miles

both cars are automatic, and i just got new spark plugs.....if that counts for anyting

The Z has 227 hp and 200 ft lbs of torque with and weighs around 3600 lbs. Your RS (305 TBI I'm assuming) has 170 hp and 255 ft lbs of torque and probably weighs about the same. Use your car's low-end torque and gearing to your advantage and take him from a dig and you should be able to take him. If you go from a roll, his top end will be better and he'll probably win.

my camaro has a cast iron block and cast iron heads and a full 8 speaker 2 sub stereo system and i weighed in at 3250 with me out of it 300zx weighs some retarted 3600-3900 depends if its the ttop convertable or coup... you have a better geared rear end and if its a 700r4 your 1-3 should be alot stronger than his u should have 1 or 2 lengths on him

I had a Z a few years back (a 93' Z32 model). It ran mid-8's in the 1/8. I would eat my friends 89 camaro with a 350, with edelbrock intake and 650 cfm carb everytime. From a roll or standstill. I had the stick though... They are heavy (the Z's) but man are they quick. Do me a favor n' kick your friend in the *** for getting the 2+2 though...

your kidding?with just a streetfighter and full exhaust i left a 93 5spd in the dust drop gear and from a line and i have dished pistons and 76cc heads what was wrong with the camaro you raced? the only fast 300zx ive seen was a 94 fairlady twin turbo he kept a bumper behind supras those cars i give mad credit too

They have a VLSD, a viscous limited slip differential.
