The only differences I know of (other than bore) are larger injectors, different programming and a different knock sensor. That's it.

Thank you so much, I was just discussing this with my friend (who has a 1st gen). He had the opportunity to buy a TPI for the 350 he's building, but the TPI was off a 305. I told him exactly what Brian said, but my friend said that the runners on a 350 were larger.

You can even run the 19lb/hr on 350's (i've heard). I'd probably get the 22's though...or are they 24.

they are 22's but 19's will work better than the 22's with an afpr. thats what i'm going to be doing on the new motor i'm building.... good luck!

You can run the 305 injectors (19#) in a fairly mild 350 if you get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I just read another thread where some guys ran the 305 knock sensor and memcal(chip) in their 350's with no problems. Oh, the runners are the same.

cheaper for 19's but depends on your budget....if you go with 22's you wont have to worry about fuel pump, but even with the 22's i'd use the afpr becuz the fuel is spread out more causing better combustion....

Is the fuel pump the same on both 305 and 350 cars?

The fuel pumps are the same. The 305 injectors run at a higher
pressure to match the flow of a 350 injector will atomize the fuel
better giving better performance but will cause extra stress on
the pump. If it is not a daily driver, I would not worry about it.
But if it is a daily driver, the pump will die sooner than normal.

I use 19lb injectors on my Jaguar but the car only gets driven a
couple hundred miles a year.
