LT4 cam (not LT4 HOT)

It is in between the LT1 and ZZ4 cam....would it be good for a 305 with
1) Hooker Supercomp Headers/Y-pipe
2) DynoMax 3" Cat-back
3) Stock TPI intake ported to the Max, untill I can get SLP runners.
4) Ported Stock Heads

Eventually aftermarket igntion, and possibly heads(next yr)

It won't over/under cam it will it? Whould the ZZ4 cam be better.

No,I was showing the specs on those two cams.
I believe the ZZ4 cam is 474/510 lift 208/221 duration @.05 112 LSA. Some people say they are almost the same.

I have no personal experience w/ the ZZ4 cam in a 305, BUT people have told me it works great.

I haven't heard of anyone running a LT1/LT4 cam in a 305.

The ZZ4 is a better choice. You're going to do a lot of work and swap valve springs anyway, might as well do it once and do it right. The LT1/4 cam would be OK as a bargain basement stop gap effort in a peanut cam car. Definitely not worth it in an L98 cammed car even for free.

My L98 runs much better with the LT1 cam.I'm sure it doesn't run low 13s, but I'll run anyone with a stock L98.

I'm not very good at guessing these thing but, I'll go w/ a solid 20hp. This also depends on what else you have done to the car.
