If my clutch kit gets here next day air like it supposed to, I'll be in the garage all weekend. Just wondering if the mounts are the same. Did a quick search and could not find the answer

Yes the mounts are the same. As long as you got a crossmember to put on it's an easy swap. Good luck

yes, but if you buy a spohn x-member his are drilled for the ES mounts or mid 60's tranny mounts that utilize two bolts instead of a single threaded post.

The ES mount has all 3 holes in it anyway, so you can use either pattern.

Cool. My x-mem came on Thurdsay. Spohn was cool enough to let me get the x-member w/ d/s loop and mount for torque arm since I can not afford the whole kit right now. I'll just use my poly bushing off my old 89.

Thanx for the fast response. I'll be shifting 6 by Sunday!!!!!! :lala:

Not done yet. Waiting till the temp gets below 110 before I start today .... maybe the hang over will be over by then too. I got lots to do today. I'm swapping out the entire front susp from my old 89 to the 90 first, then I'll go to the trans. I already got the 700R out, and that was easy with the right tools. For the trans bolts, I used a 2 ft extension w/ a swival on the end. I dropped the trans down to tilt the motor down to expose the bolts better and helps to get the toque arm off also. Undo the top bellhousing bolts first so they are not the last ones that hold the assembly together. 6 bolts there, 3 on the flywheel to converter, disconnect all the linkages and wires and is down. Took only about 1.5 hours by myself.

Thanx Shawn I'll try to get a hold of you today to get you those WS6 springs. I hope I get a lot done today.
