My thoughts on the G Force Trans...
Except for the slightly noisier gears, I'm lovin this tranny.
How about 1800 RPM's at 65 MPH in fifth?? 2000 RPM's at 70 MPH??
And that's with 3.73:1 rear gears!!! The .59 ratio 5th makes a world of difference!
No "special" tranny mount, speedo alteration, etc... required.
And the first 4 gears are still nice and low....but it sounds weird when going from forth into fifth if you don't wind out forth quite a bit 1st....
Oh and BTW, I'd recommend the Pro-5.0.....makes a world of difference!

Yeah, I'm comparing to a stock T-5. That's the only other trans I've had in the car....just makes a little more noise even with the synchro trans.... (like I have), cause the gears are not cut as steep of an angle like the stock gears. That's how they're able to rate it at a higher torque/HP than a stock trans.

Hey, seriously though, so far I'm happy with it overall. The "Jury's still out" so far as how long it will last. Remember - I just installed this like maybe 175 miles ago!!!
By no means am I trying to sell anything. If it blows up next week, and I post about it here - then maybe I can save someone else from getting screwed.
The whining still concerns me a little though, But they say that's "normal".
BTW, I'm just running a standard clutch.

But I do need a louder stereo.
