anyone know what these round circle things are on the rear end case? they look like nickels welded to the case...

It's actually a hole. When they press in the tubes they then weld them to the housing.
ok looks like there rusting a little. should i patch them with something?

Nope! They will never rust out. Or I should say if they rust out you got other BIGGER problems! 
they have like a little pin hole in them. i dont want it to leak or water to get in(not that the car gets wet)
