everything just onbolts, but you have to pull the trans out, so thats a little bit of work. the t5 weights about 80 lbs dry? doing this on a lift will al the right tools is not a hard job, but i t cam e be done with just a jack, jackstands and muscles.

Awesome thanks, dropping the trans wont be a problem then.
Any recomendations as to what clutch package i should be going for or do you think a stock replacement is fine ?

Most likely the stock replacement would be fine depending what you are using your car for. Sorry for jumping in.

I can swap one laying on my back in my garage in about 2½ hours.
It's the lightest manual trans for front-engine RWD cars that I know of. Easiest to deal with in every way. Total piece o cake.
A "stock replacement" would be fine... I'd avoid the AZ specials and such, but yerbasic Ram, CF, etc. type of deal should be fine. Be aware that virtually all of the clutches themselves are the same, and come from Valeo or LUK or the like; the discs are about all that's different.
Make sure you replace the pilot bearing!!! This cannot be adequately emphasized.

Hardest part will be removing the dips stick and retaining bracket, and getting it back in!
