Do adjust the TV cable to spec first, trying to read through your issues though, it seems something may not have been assembled correctly.

With only a 1000 miles on it, I'd head back to the rebuilders and have him take a ride in it.

Definitely sounds like the tv cable is a little loose. Needs proper adjustment right away. Can do damage driving with improper adjustment. You’d be surprised how a little adjustment can do wonders.

Re: 88 irocz auto TH700R4

Thank you Tzych and Mike ,I took a look to day at the TV cable throttle body linkage end I pulled the TV cable just under a quarter of an inch to wards the front there was slack there what had happened the screw on the small adjuster at the end of the cable was loose wich caused the cable to slip so pulled up the slack and tighten the screw then I give it a drive and give it a bit of gas it changed up perfect 1st 2nd 3rd 4th no messing about.
So thanks again guys your advise was great.

I would double what ever you can on the TV cable so as to it never coming loose again. Make sure that the TV cable is tight at WOT.

Yes great point... and also make sure you aren’t limiting full accelerator travel of WOT by the TV cable.
