will 3.4 heads fit on 3.1/will 3.4 cam fit 3.1

I have a 3.1 Camaro and I wanted to do something to make it a little faster and i was reading that 3.4 heads have more meat on them to port/polish and this could be a good junkyard head to get to play with. Also where do i find a cam to go into my motor, how much? also i here there is a guy on here makeing custom hedders, and i was wondering if that would work with my electronic egr. i have a 90 rs and i plan to put a air box on it that came on the 2.8 cars that go between the bumper and radiator the air box has a mass airflow sensor on it and my car dose not have one on it to the best of my knowledge what do i do?

1. Welcome to the board!

2. 2.8/3.1/3.4 are the same head.

3. any 3.4 cam can be used in your block. replace springs when doing so.

4. (in Yoda voice) Use the search, Luke, and all your answers will come

Serious
Drive your 2.8 into the ground
Locate a 3.4 & swap in have fun for cheap & way better use of effort.
Again
Ebay is your new wrecking yard.
Everyday punch 3.4 60* & see what happens.
One guy got his for $500 (w/out delivery charges) thru ebay.
Last guy was $910 including delivery (also ebay)
Again better use of our effort.
Cause if ya swap in the cams & heads, you'll be swapping mills rather soon after anyway.
These little engine's at high milage, see end kinda quick soon after you swap on heads & such.

I am the last one who recived one. 910-920 to the docks in my town. Engine looks good so far, just needs the recommened timing chain.

I belive you will recieve better results doing the full swap, rather then just cam and heads
